A visit to the Sight & Sound Theatre is truly a unique experience. Story, song and spectacular staging bring the Bible to life on stage. The family-friendly theatre delivers massive sets, huge casts, cinematic original scores, live animals, spectacular special effects and a panoramic 300-foot stage on three sides, taking audiences right into the center of the story. Today, each original musical production is the result of the efforts of a team of more than 600 employees.
Sight & Sound Theatres is the largest faith-based live theatre organization in the country and has been described as "Christian Broadway." Last year, nearly a million people from around the world experienced productions at Sight & Sound's theatres in Lancaster County, PA., and Branson, MO. The Lancaster County location is one of the top three theatre destinations in the country.
This year’s feature Lancaster production is “Samson.” He’s the original superhero--able to defeat entire armies and slay lions in a single Bible story. But his superpower comes with a catch: he must follow the rules. And that’s where the trouble begins. As Samson resists the Philistines--and his own personal calling--he soon falls prey to temptation, losing his strength and sight. But has he lost hope?
